Tru-Fit is a independent family run business. We started as a mobile fitting service in September 1992 in Edinburgh; in 2002 we re-located to East Calder near Livingston. Now In January 2010 we have moved into a new dedicated fitting centre (on the same site)

This became necessary as modern cars become more complicated in the electrics department, (and our weather has not been kind to us either) Now we can provide an even better service to a larger range of customers. We are easy to find just off the A71 opposite the Camps, or from the M8 junction 2 then take B7030 were ¼ mile from Linwater Caravan Park.

Our mobile fitting service is still available to our trade & fleet customers.

A fully equipped van is currently used specifically for this purpose.

Although we do not have any fancy waiting area or coffee lounge. We recommend you take a leisurely stroll along to the near-by Almondell Garden Centre and try a coffee & home bake in the excellent Hedgerow Teashop within while we fit your towbar. We are happy to drive you along if you so wish.

TRU-FIT only fit top quality British made towbars including Anker, A1, PCT and Witter.

All of our towbars come with a lifetime guarantee and are EC 94/20 type approved. We have a very wide range of towbars that can have flanged or detachable necks and use double or single electrics. We can also supply and fit a wide range of accessories including adjustable couplings, drop plates, bumper protectors and lighting boards.
